As a teacher, I am in the very privileged position to receive gifts on special occasions. Just in case, for those of you who may be remotely even contemplating giving your teacher an kind of gift ever....please don’t. Your gift to me is your children. I learn from them as much as they learn from me.
If you'd like to make a charitable gift, Miracle Babies is our chosen charity. My daughter, Yasmin was born at 28 weeks in 2006 when Miracle Babies was just a very small local organisation. Over the years it has become a nationwide foundation supporting premature and sick newborns, their families and the hospitals that care for them. As new parents, they were a great support for my husband and myself and we try to give back wherever we can. We'd love you to help us support them and support others.
